BTG was created in 2010 when Berkshire Theatre Festival (celebrating its 90th anniversary this year) merged with The Colonial Theatre (now in its 115th year). Since its inception, BTG has served as a center for creative work that enriches, educates, invigorates and transforms artists and audiences. Located in Stockbridge, MA and Pittsfield, MA, BTG aims to support artistic exploration and acclaimed performances in theatre, dance, music and entertainment.

Shakespeare on the Sound
Shakespeare on the Sound is committed to producing affordable, professional open-air productions of the plays of William Shakespeare and related authors in Fairfield County. Working in collaboration with area civic, business and educational institutions, Shakespeare on the Sound presents an annual theatre festival, which brings great dramatic works to a broad audience, creating a forum for learning, appreciation and celebration. Our Educational programming goal is to build community through the arts, giving the works of Shakespeare a vibrant life beyond the summer festival with a variety of school, library, adult education, and art programs as a means to reach a diverse cross-section of people of all ages and economic backgrounds.

Now celebrating its 103rd season, Tony Award nominated and Drama Desk Award winning National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) is the longest consecutively producing theatre in the US and the world’s oldest continuously operation Yiddish theatre company. Dedicated to creating a living legacy through the arts, connecting generations and bridging communities, NYTF brings history to life by reviving the lost and forgotten gems of the Yiddish stage through its global restoration project, commissioning new work, and adapting pre-existing work for the 21st Century. Serving a versatile audience comprised of performing arts patrons, cultural enthusiasts, Yiddish-language aficionados and the general public, the company presents plays, musicals, concerts, lectures, interactive educational workshops and community-building activities in English and Yiddish, with English and Russian supertitles accompanying performances. NYTF provides access to the hundreds of years of cultural expression, aiming to inspire the imaginations of the next generation to contribute their own stories to this valuable work.

The Barrow Group offers theatre patrons and performing arts students an artistic experience focused on simplicity, clarity, and spontaneity. In the 10,000 sf arts center in midtown Manhattan, audiences enjoy deeply engaging productions of excellent plays, and students learn easy-to-understand techniques that help them tell stories more clearly and freely. While many aspiring actors take their acting classes, they also have executives, public officials, teachers, and many others enroll in the theater training workshops. They also offer acting classes for kids and teens. They believe people are hungry for shared experiences of theatre that are intimate and inspiring.
